i8042prt.sys is crashing XP Pro?!

Hmmpf, maybe anyone can help me out here. From time to time i get a BSOD because of this driver. . . Isn't that one assoiciated with the keyboard? I also have the Logitech iTouch software running.

Problem with Operation Flashpoint

I notice there is no section for bugs concerning PC games so I figure this is close enough. Heres the problem: If I install any of the updates available for this game and start it up, 7 out of 10 times the desktop mouse pointer is still visible, even while in-game.
