Just got word from Tim at MajorGeeks that QuickTime Alternative 1.30 RC6 and Real Alternative 1.20 RC6 are out! QuickTime Alternative will allow you to play QuickTime files (.mov, .qt and other extensions) without having to install the official QuickTime Player.
