The Toughpower 1000W from Thermaltake is a real monster! And I mean that in a good way. With best-of-class specs and a generous feature set with configuration options and some future proofing, this baby is tough to beat. The Toughpower line represents Thermaltake's flagship PSU offerings, and the 1000W is a worthy addition, building on a tradition of power, stability and cutting edge features.
Noctua NC-U6 Chipset Cooler Review
Noctua continues to show its commitment to excellence with their NC-U6 passive chipset cooler. Their excellent build quality continues to show presence. I would really like to see the Noctua line of products make their way to the main stream Americas. Their attention to detail and continuous quality show them as a best-of-breed product.
ATI Catalyst 7.4 Performance Analysis
When we received an email from ATI/AMD the other day we were a little shocked that we would see a Catalyst set significantly earlier then we have over the past few months. The reason for this would probably be that with the R600 coming out early next month ATI did not want to release the 7.4s with the 7.5s due out only a week later. The release notes are a bit sparse with only the single performance improvement below mentioned.
Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400 SLI-Ready Memory Review
This year, we saw the release of Microsoft's latest operating system ... Windows Vista. Unlike Windows XP, Vista needs a significantly large amounts of ram, if you want to take advantage of the new features. With this in mind, we are now seeing more and more memory manufacturers offering not only 1Gb kits, but also 2Gb Kits and even 4Gb Kits. As the demand for high performance increases, so will the demand for hardware and components to support it.

Cyber Snipa S.W.A.T. Laser Mouse Review
The S.W.A.T. performs as well as any other laser mouse on the market and has a lot to offer for a reasonable $30 US ? switchable 800/1600 DPI modes, seven buttons, onboard memory to save preferences, sleek looks, and a comfortable shape. As great as it performs in games it will also serve well as a mouse to use while doing basic things such as web surfing.

The KillerNIC - Is It Worth It?
In the ongoing efforts to squeeze every possible performance improvement out of their computing rig, most folks focus almost exclusively on the two heavy hitters in their system when it comes to generating frames per second (FPS): CPU and video card. Is it possible that both consumers and hardware manufacturers have been overlooking an untapped area for improvement?
Razer Tarantula Keyboard Review
DV Hardware tested the Razer Tarantula keyboard: "The subject of this week's review is the Tarantula keyboard from Razer. The company describes this as the ultimate keyboard for gamers - they say it's created for gamers, by gamers. The Tarantula is Razer's first attempt at creating a keyboard, in this review I'm going to take a look whether it's worth your hard-earned money. As this is the first review of a Razer product on DV Hardware, I'm first going to give you a little bit of background information. Razer is an American company that makes computer peripherals for gamers, they are best known for their computer mice, but they also have keyboards, mousepads and audio solutions in their product lineup.."
Gigabyte Aurora 570 Black Case Review @ Tweaknews
Gigabyte's 3D Aurora 570 chassis is the second-generation offering in this product line and a very worthy successor to the original. With many improvements over its older brother and several new features, the 570 is a high quality case that will make an excellent home for the latest maximum-effort systems an enthusiast might wish to install. It has a distinctive look, great performance and a feature list the likes of which give many chassis manufacturers a thing or two to learn.
Thermalright HR-03 Plus VGA Heatsink Review @ MadShrimps
Thermalright has build up quite a reputation from back in the Atlon XP times, offering truly the best heatsink one could get at the time. Since then they've grown bigger and better by creating new heatsinks for every available market. Back in 2006 we already saw what the HR-03 is worth for Geforce 7 series VGA cards, to accommodate the increased heat output of the 8 series the engineers went back to their drawing table and came up with the 'Plus'-edition.
Crucial 2GB Kit ECC DDR2-533/PC2-4200 (CT2KIT12872AA53E) Memory Review
The company Crucial offers high performance PC2-8500, PC2-8000, PC2-6400 and PC2-5300 modules,
but they also provide several inexpensive DDR2 alternatives like e.g. the PC2-4200 modules.
The high performance series of Crucial has been already reviewed and overclocked on ocinside.de,
so it's time to write an overclocking review about the latest 2GB PC2-4200 kit.
This Crucial DDR2-533 memory kit supports the ECC (error correction code) feature,
which is particularly very important for servers.
In this review you'll see if and how high the current PC2-4200 Crucial RAM with ECC can be overclocked.

Adobe Photoshop CS3
Adobe Photoshop CS3 is brimming with so many image-editing tools that the biggest challenge facing it seems to be where to stuff them all. This latest version of Photoshop adds even more tools and enhancements to the mix, but it cleans up its act with a simple yet effective approach to palette organization.
I tried out the software in beta form; this is the first time Adobe has offered the public a nonfinal version of its image editing program. (Existing Photoshop CS2 users can download the free trial version.) Photoshop CS3, which will be Microsoft Windows Vista-compatible, will anchor Adobe's full Creative Suite, expected later this year. On its own, the shipping version will sell for $649. PcWorld has more.

Five desktop quad-core solutions compared
AS YOU MAY KNOW, we've already reviewed the top-end desktop quad-core processor rigs from Intel and AMD. We examined the Core 2 Extreme QX6700 upon its debut, and we covered AMD's Quad FX platform even before it hit store shelves. What we found, in a nutshell, is that four processor cores is a wonderful thing to have, but only if you have some heavy multitasking to do or you happen to make extensive use of one of the few applications out there capable of taking full advantage of four cores simultaneously. But things have changed somewhat since our last dance with quad-core systems, and so we're gathered here today to take another look. TechReport
Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse Review
If we were to publish a "Movers & Shakers" list for 2006, Razer would certainly be in the top 3. In the past year, Razer has expanded their product line to include keyboards, headphones, sound cards and most recently, computer speakers. We saw several of these new products at Razer's booth during the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show in January and even got to "play" with these products first hand. Like some other up-and-coming companies, Razer stays true to their roots by continuing to release new and innovative gaming mice on a regular basis. We will be taking a look at one of these new products today, the DeathAdder 3G Infrared Gaming Mouse.
Dell 2407WFP UltraSharp 24-inch LCD display
About two weeks ago I ordered the Dell 2407WFP online. I was using the 17" Samsung 710N LCD display and I was looking for a bigger LCD display. It was a though search and I wasn't really sure how big I wanted to go. After reading some reviews I decided to go for the Dell 2407WFP UltraSharp - a big 24" widescreen LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution capable of playing full HD video. I was a bit hesitant because of the huge price tag of this monitor but I decided to go ahead and shelve out 820.99EUR for the 2407WFP.
