Does the gpu's BIOS make a difference ?

Not really, unless you got a hacked bios that increases ram/gpu mhz speed or enables fastwrites or something. Most Video BIOS's today don't do much as it's all done by the drivers unlike in the old dos days where the bios set pretty much everything on the card.

Intel has newer software. They recommend loading the Intel Application Accelerator. The Ultra ATA driver it loads is version 7.00.2017.

My opinion is that there should not be too many posts on game news. This isn't a game site!? I suspect most people come here for news on computer software and hardware, and most important, various bios/driver updates.

Direct X 9 fix

does anyone know were the fix is for DX 9 thier was a registry setting you had to change, it was here but it seems to have been over written with somethign else, any help weould be great, :roll:

Clone CD problems

Ok, I am using a SONY 160E and I am trying to burn a CD that has SafeDisk V2 on it (for backup purposes of course. . . . ) however it just won't work. I had a SONY 140E and it used to burn fine with CLONE on Safedisk and SafediskV2 at 4 speed as indicated by Clony XXL.

Every time I try to install, it just tells me that it hasn't passed Windows Logo testing and refuses to let me install (no ignore and install anyway like you usually get).
