New 42.30 driver?

Today I got an submission that there is a Nvidia Detonat 42.30 dated 01/13/2002 available at ftp://ftp. nvidia. pl/pub/Drivery/42.30/. The file is an exe package and differs in name from the driver which is available at asus.
Audigy 2 platinum on ME

Got a SB audigy 2 Platinum on a p3-866 with Windows ME. It only seems to work with the vxd drivers and not the wdm drivers. When the wdm drivers are installed it shows up fine in device manager but can't be selected as an audio output or input.

Two things that prevent me from switching to the DX9 compatible drivers. 1.Refresh rates for OpenGL games still 60hz for games that reset resoltions INGAME. 2.My $2000 Professional 21 monitor refreshrates over 120 Hz are not supported.

This is exactly the same file as for Windows 2000, which was out about six months ago. Pinnacle have just renamed their Windows 2000 drivers. Having said that, they work perfectly with Windows XP with my PCTV.
Why is their no ATI news?

I've had several Nividia cards including the TI4600 and serval ATI which Im curently using R9700.they have all been great cards with no problems from any of them.

hey guys, I had to format my computer yesterday cos I had a load of problems with different software crashes and what not. All my files were backed up in my My Documents directory of which is stored on my second HDD.
Easy CD Creator Buffer Underrun Error

I am running Win 2K Pro and I have Easy CD Creator version 4.02.My burner is 8x max and often times when I try to burn a CD, I get a buffer underrun error. This doesn't happen all the time and I've even tried to use higher quality CD-Rs.
DX9 causing hangup during reboot/shutdown

Since I installed directx9 final, I am having a weird problem where my machine fails to begin the shutdown/restart process until at least a minute after I issue the command.

OK whenever u post for help on software and hardware problems on BB, always post ur system config. And have u heard of Ahead's Nero Burning ROM. Give it a TRY u wont be dissapointed.

I posted news about a patch released on Maxdownload. com. It promised a Radeon9500 card could be turn to Radeon 9700 Pro without any hardware modifications. How many of u Radeon9500 Owners patched it? , If yes, what was the result (change in 3dMark scores.

I just bought a radeon 9500 pro. I removed all old drivers and then the old card(geforce3ti500) and proceeded to install the new one. I put the card in my comp and now it wont even boot.
