Go with Stardock's WindowFX. With it (under W2K & XP) you can have it turn the taskbar different degrees of transparent. You can also set different programs to run transparent.

could it not just be that the server is down serving the images ???? ive no problem with any pictures and installed nearly alle betas of the SP1

System sees CDRW as CDROM

My lite-on cdrw was working fine, but, like an idiot, I installed latest firmware from Lite-on site. Now my system sees drive as ordinary cdrom, NOT cdrw. I've sent in report to Lite-on & am awaiting reply.

limit bandwidth

Network with 2 computers, connected via a switch, both windows xp. one sharing the internet connection (ISDN) with the other. Can I share the bandwitdt with a certain ration from the internet connection to the computer? e.

Mouse registry settings

i messed up my mouse settings trying to do that registry tweak for windows xp for my mouse is crazy the only way i had to fix it was to delete the smoothx and smoothy values now i want them back how do i get them back please help

Best Voodoo 4/5 WinXP drivers?

I currently am using a Voodoo 5 5500, due to the fact that my geforce broke and i'm looking for the best drivers, cause voodoofiles. com has like 50 different kind of the same driver, and my current driver keeps freezing my whole system up.

Just wanted to drop a line for Winmx, it is a great P2P. No spyware whatsoever, good DL speeds (if you have broadband) and you can pretty much find anything you want.

Q3Arena Low FPS scores??????

Those AMD optimized Quake 3 DLLs added about 60fps, I'd peak at around 140 during game play, now it averages 160 and i see 200fps all the time, never dropping below 120fps in a fire fight, when it used to get down to around 80.
