New Raspberry Pi Imager v2.0.12 Fixes Corrupt Writes and WPA3 Networking
Raspberry Pi has shipped Imager v2.0.12, its biggest update to the disk-imaging tool since the Qt 6 rewrite, packing roughly 208 commits across about 35 pull requests. The release rebuilds the write path so cancelled or truncated downloads can no longer be falsely reported as complete, and it restores genuine WPA3/SAE networking by storing the actual Wi-Fi passphrase. Embedded mode for the network installer gets a major overhaul with real network checks, QR-based Connect sign-in and a working reboot button, while a re-labeled eMMC stops you from accidentally overwriting an internal system drive. Downloads for Windows, macOS and Linux are live now, with the macOS .dmg already drawing roughly 820 pulls.
