Microsoft PowerToys v0.102.3001 Hotfix Fixes File Locksmith and Quick Accent Crashes
Microsoft PowerToys shipped v0.102.3001.0 today as a targeted hotfix, dropping just six days after its big 0.102 feature release to fix two crashes with no new features. The update repairs File Locksmith, which died on stalled handle scans due to abandoned detached threads reading freed memory, and Quick Accent, which crashed when arrow-key navigation hit stale list items after a language switch. Clint Rutkas fixed the File Locksmith issue and Boliang Zhang patched Quick Accent, both validated with strict A/B testing on ARM64. It's available now as signed installers for x64 and ARM64 via the built-in updater or the GitHub release page.
