You know what.. there is an awful lot of bull being posted about the CATs recently. They cause this problem and that problem.. yeah whatever. I have a number of PCs (in a cyber cafe) they all run fine, including the one 9800pro i have. I think a lot of these 'problems' are being posted by ex-nvidia owners who are sour about having to have a radeon because the FX isnt much cop. Before i get flamed by nvidiots i own more NV cards than ATI cards and they all work great.

But heres the point.. They WERE NOT hyped by ATI. It was just said by Catalyst maker that they were ATIs most important release. He said it once. All the hype came from the Beta testers and the kiddies getting worked up and excited by it. I admit the 3.8s arent a huge step forward but for me they are the best ATI drivers yet. I have had no problems whatsoever since the CAT 3.2s. Your right about rage3D, its become a waste of time recently. Its funny that the 3.8s got a much better reception at NVnews...

They should overclock the 9800XT only, but who knows, a lot of these kids do bios hacks etc so it could be the driver getting confused.

It cant be that, the 9800pro has no sensor. Id like to know how the temperature is being measured !

So it looks like it affects those that overclock their cards too much.. well newsflash, ATI dont support you if you overclock! So its like i said.. bios hacked and overclocked...

Hey i got an idea. Lets pretent that ATI is god and has never made a mistake with a graphics card and that NVIDIA is nothing but crap and then do nothing but post this over and over again because we have nothing better to do with our lives. Personally Im sick and tired of all this. Both companies make good products.

No there isnt, youll have to use an external probe. They do get hot, unless you have problems dont worry about it.
