It would appear the 3.8 Drivers are making the ATI 9800 Pro cards very hot! check this link out at Rage3D.
Update: Thanks to my good mate Zardon! we have an update from ATI on the Cat 3.8 drivers overheating you're 9800 Pro
Rage3d is down and atm the only guys we can see commenting about this are two who have modded their non pros to pros...
these are the test results ATI have sent me, please bear in mind we cant check the posts on R3D atm to see whats going on regarding the users/ cards and the configurations involved.
