Of course, don't they have to? 3Dmark2001 was DX8 "based", 2000 was DX7 and 99 was DX6.

I thought that was just an editors comment from Neowin? Meaning, Neowin could get 3dmark2003 if they wanted, but they refused to sign.. ?
