Altec Lansing AHS-602 Headphones Review

Published by Newsfactory 0

Headphones are a must accessory for any gamer. They allow you to easily communicate with players throughout the world to better strategize your game plans. Altec Lansing has come up with a solution to suit both gamers as well as those who use voice chat and other similar features via the Internet. The affordable speaker producer has combined the functionality of a pair of headphones and a microphone into a single product. This idea is definitely not unique, but is always interesting to see the product differences in the market between each company. As the competition increases, every manufacturer is trying to outdo each other with something special.

Chaintech Volari V3 review

Published by Newsfactory 0

Just got a word that OCWorkbench has posted a review on the latest Chaintech card, the Volari V3.

Today we?re going to stray a little from the rest of the pack and take a closer look at the recently released Chaintech Volari V3 card. Priced at about $47, this card certainly is one of the most affordable graphics cards you can find out there and is in the same price range as the nVidia Geforce MX 4000. However, unlike the Geforce MX 4000, the Volari V3 sports Vertex and Pixel Shaders support, the board has a DVI port and even more interesting, the Volari V3 seems to be the only card costing only $47 which supports HDTV up to 1080i !

Creative MuVo NX 256mb Review at Jhawk's Hardware

Published by [NT] 0

“It seems like all the rage these days is mp3 players. The growth in sales and the increasing number of features in these tiny devices is pretty amazing, they’ve gone from big bulky 32mb players with no LCD screens to 40 GB iPods with backlit LCD’s and games. I always thought my Panasonic Shockwave MP3 CD player was good enough for me. Sure it may be bulky, heavy and still skipped at times but after a while I decided it's time to try something new to run with. So upon the recommendation of a friend, I decided to pick up a 256mb mp3 player, the Creative MuVo NX 256mb, and we’ll see how well it works for an active user like me.”

Swiftech MCX 6400-V Heatsink Review

Published by Newsfactory 1

OCIA.net has posted a review of the Swiftech MCX 6400-V.

There were NO clearance issues installing this heatsink on an MSI K8N Neo Platinum. The included backplate was not used, ONLY because the backplate on the MSI K8N Neo is glued on. I compared both plates and saw no visible difference -- with the spacers included, as long as the threads go as deep as the backplate sent by Swiftech, there should be no complication.

Jetart Xcool NP5000 Laptop Cooler Review @ ExtensionTech.net

Published by newsfactory 0

Although laptop coolers are nothing new to the enthusiast market, one would question the real necessity of them. I mean, if your laptop would get too hot, the whole 4 or 5 real manufacturers of laptops would catch that, and put in better cooling, right? But one could say that a cooler system will last longer, and perhaps be not as prone to crashes and lock-ups. Back on track here, this cooler is very unique in a few ways; it has a 4 port USB 2.0 Hub, adjustable fan speed, and it's AC powered!

Thermaltake Xpeaker Review

Published by Newsfactory 1

OCIA.net has posted a review of the Thermaltake Xpeaker.

The first thing I noticed straight out of the box was that the main drive assembly that holds the speakers was light in weight. I did not expect much from the speakers due to that fact but we will have more to say about that later. Looking at the front facing of the speaker bay assembly you see the bass knob on the left, volume knob in the center and power knob on the right. I have a feeling it will look nice once inside the case.

Ultrasone HFI-650 Headphones Review

Published by [NT] 0

Headphones are a gadget of choice for LAN party attendees, professional musicians, and music enthusiasts. This makes it necessary for manufacturers to produce headphones that cater to one of the toughest consumership in the market. Ultrasone has always focused their energy towards making expensive yet high-quality headphones. In fact, they are the only ones to have produced 999 pairs of headphones that cost around $3,000. Of course, this is out of reach for many consumers and they represent more of a collector's item rather than an accessory that can be used regularly. It is interesting to see what kind of things Ultrasone has put into their $3,000 model, but the main question is - are you really going to notice the difference between $500 headphones vs. the $3,000 ones? It all depends on your tastes and the budget category you are looking at.

QTechnology is among these. Since 1998, QTechnology has worked hard to silence office and home computers with their "Ultra Silent" power supplies, CPU coolers, cases, and Acousti Products noise reduction materials.

Luxeon Star LED

Published by [NT] 0
