Portmaster is a free and Open Source application that puts you back in charge of your computer's network connections.

Portmaster offers a quick setup to get you started, allowing you to change the default settings.

For example:

Tracker blocking
Secure DNS
A note about tips in the app.

Once Portmaster has completed the initial setup, you can see your current security, network monitor, and overview. You can find a few navigation shortcuts on the left, but nothing is currently useful.

There is a shortcut to a simple interface, but it isn't working, possibly because it is still in alpha.

Once you click on any connection, you can see the number of connections, destinations, countries, allowed and blocked. You can also see the connection history and more.

Safing Portmaster lets you see, block, and manage all connections to your computer.
