Sony Ericsson released a new firmware update software which can be used with the USB cable bundled with most of the newer packages or with the DSS-25 for the old pin out phones like the K700i. Users will be able to update their firmware for bug-fixes at the comfort of your home.

In the next few pages, we will take a look at screen shots of the procedure to upgrade our K700i from R2AE033 to the newest firmware R2AY004.
