They forgot to add T&L with GeForce 1.

why that T&L is working ... its not thaaaaat big as promised ... but it worked and not only 1-2 games support it

well, I thought when GF3 came out with 1.1 Pixel Shaders ATI followed with PS 1.4 on Radeon 8500. The oldie still stands in my pc. As I know either some S3 or XGI cards were limited with PS 1.0, but no one ever used them shaders there anyway...

T&L works in lots of games because it's easy to enable. It just that now, with vertex shaders it's a problem, because instead of simple logic of choosing hardware or software VS, developers are forced to implement both VS and fixed pipeline code which is a pain. And even so it's likely to have simple VS running in software being faster than fixed hardware TnL pipeline

TBR (Tile Based Rendering) Is not a failed feature, It lives on in arcade machines and will live on in new PowerVR video cards if they ever put another out.

For someone so well "informed" it's a pity you can't read sentences. I said GeForce ONE - I didn't say hardware T&L itself. At the point GeForce ONE came out the T&L features on it were useless, no games that claimed to support hardware T&L made any visual difference over a game that didn't. Therefore it was useless.
