i wonder if that was what causing the glitch in UT whenever i loaded any of the 22.xx drivers...momentary freezes while playing the game ...it never crashed on me but would freeze briefly every 10 to 15 seconds

If it is causing that freezing like you say, i have the same thing happening in CounterStrike...weird.

well i am not sure now...i downloaded the 22.80 drivers for win 2k adn installed them and it was just as the 21.83 whql drivers from nvidia...the line reads just as it did adn the box is unchecked like it should be....UT is not freezing up in 2k with these drivers so i am dumping ME for good now
