Um Toms is usually very pro nvidia, havent you seen the rantings about ATI optimisations ? Or the now infamous 'toms commentary' which practically reversed everything nvidia recently did and turned it back on ATI ???

why should I even comment on this? theres always someone who obviously knows better (some 14 year old kid mostly, sorry 16 year old). I have made enough experiences with ATI in the past incl. seeing it run "perfectly" 30 times in other computers. Im perfectionist and I dont want some buggy shit which only makes problems. If you dont agree, I dont mind, but dont tell me what I have to buy or whats the best. best is relative, kiddo.

I've tested latest 52.16 drivers on my GF4 Ti4400 & I've found that these drivers are really slow on my card. I've switched back to my old 45.20, cause, i've lost a lot of frame rate in new games . As Fraps reports, i was getting more than 60fps in Max Payne 2 @ 1280x1024x32bpp + 2xFSAA with 45.20, but, the game runs too slow now with new 52.16 drivers. In TR AOD, i was getting more than 40 fps @ 1280x1024x32bpp, but i'm getting 25 fps now with new 52.16 drivers. So, maybe i'm wrong & my windows has become crazy again, but i think that these new 52.16 drivers are slower on non GeForce FX cards. Can somebody post his results with previous GeForce FX hardware cards ?
