Should I bother updating to newer ATI Catalyst drivers if I am running an old Radeon 7500? What would be the last Catalyst release that makes a difference for the 7500?

read the realese notes and you do know what exactly is the advantage in general you can expect no performance increase but better support for games / bugfixes
