I saw this posted on /. last night and Abraham Cherian commented on it himself. They had him arrested on charges of that he'd forged the receipt and they had proof, but later after he'd been taken to jail they changed the charges to trespassing and claimed he wouldn't leave when asked. (He claims otherwise and from his story I'm very much inclined to believe him) The cops ended up releasing him and bitching out the BB manager. Now the Mr. Cherian is in a position not only to still get his ti4600 for $129, but he has one beauty of a lawsuit on his hands against BB for defamation of charecter, humiliation, etc. He also could file criminal charges against the BB manager for false imprisonment. So while it might have been a crappy/sucky/miserable experience, I'm hoping that Mr. Cherian gets a happy ending out of it. :-)
