On test we have Thermaltake's Silent Tower, Cooler Master's Hyper 6, Gigabyte's 3D Rocket, Zalman's CNPS7000B-Cu and Thermalright's XP-120. We test with two CPUs, one Prescott and one Northwood, and also consider the two stock coolers. Many of these coolers also fit AMD CPUs, so it's worth a read for fans of either brand.

The OCZ 520 Watt PSU is a rock. Once we got the chance to experience the power of the PowerStream Power Supply first hand it?s no wonder why this is the hottest PSU on the market. With our Ultra X-Connect and PowerStream 470 Watt Power Supplies the best overclock we could muster with our 3500+ was 2.4 GHz while running the memory 1:1. With this PSU we managed to push higher to a maximum overclock of 278 x 9 for a max CPU clock of 2.502 GHz. The OCZ 520 Power Supply is THE Power Supply to have. Published by Newsfactory 0

OCAU looks at Intel's 925XE chipset , supporting LGA775 CPUs, PCI-Express, DDR2 memory and, most importantly, a 1066MHz FSB. The motherboard in question is Intel's D925XECV2, which offers more tweaking and overclocking than we expect from an Intel board. To push this board to its limits, we used three CPUs, including the 1066MHz-FSB 3.46GHz Extreme Edition with 2MB L3 cache. The article also looks at the Matrix RAID feature which allows RAID0 and RAID1 at the same time, using only 2 drives.

Aerocool AeroPower Silver Line 550W Power Supply Review @ 3DXtreme.net

Published by Newsfactory 0

While this Power Supply retails for ~$75, for a 550W unit this is actually a very good price. The combination of sleeved cabling and quiet operation also makes this Power Supply a nice addition to any system. Aerocool has again provided a decent Power Supply and it won?t clean out your wallet in the process. I would recommend this Power Supply for just about any use.

Sunbeam Case and General Lighting Accessories

Following on from their review of Sunbeam's innovative Chameleon light controller, 3DVelocity have rounded up a few more interesting products from the Sunbeam catalogue.

Buying the case is only half the story these days though, for many people the next step is to add a window in the side panel (if it didn't come with one), and create a lighting setup inside that would make Pink Floyd jealous. Lighting is the evolution of the custom case craze, and one without the other is like bread without butter.

The processing is good , especially if considering that this a is not coming from a massproduction. Steel Case Review A+ Clio Jr. Airdesign Miditower The solution seems to be a case in air design. On the Cebit 2004 (we wrote about) maxpoit should such a prototyp of such a case , named A plus Clio jr , which match in someway the requierements of air design. Actually this case is also good for overclockers or modders. But we still take a look at it. Aircase Review Antec Phantom PSU The whole PSUs case is made out of aluminium and works as a enhanced heatsink , similar to the expensive Deltatronic Fanless PSU. A short look inside shows a very good processing quality of the used components. Every single source of heat is connected withthe heatsink which is connectet to the case. With that the components can transfer its heat directly to the case. even the requiered natural air convection is reduced to a minimum. Antec Phantom PSU Review
