Gainward CoolFX Powerpack! Ultra/2600

Published by Newsfactory 1

Hexus have thrown up their review of Gainward's CoolFX Powerpack! Ultra/2600 graphics card! Here's a snip.

The title of "world's fastest graphics card" is a heady one. Reserved only for the cream of the crop, the outright expensive, the downright ludicrous. When used correctly, the title often applies all three superlatives to the product in question, at the same time. Simultaneously fast, expensive and slightly rediculous, Gainward love those attributes and apply them liberally to their flagship graphics cards in the quest for speed, speed and more speed, hopefully obtaining the aforementioned title so lovingly coveted.

Glide Pad Series Mousepads Review

Published by [NT] 0

OCIA.net checks out the Glide Pad Series Mousepads in their latest review. Below is a direct quote from the review:

"The low end of the pay spectrum in the Glide-Pad series features the Glide-Pad Premier. It has a textured surface and is made completely out of plastic. The textured surface supplied a little drag, which was not to my liking. My wife on the other hand liked that resistance. She is not a gamer, and the drag gave her a little more control for drawing and cutting / pasting documentation."

Foxconn AMD 3400+ Heat Guzzler Review

Published by Newsfactory 0

OCIA.net checks out the Foxconn AMD 3400+ Heat Guzzler Heatsink in their latest review. Below is a direct quote from the review:

Here's where everything started to suck. Guess what folks? The fan got in the way. The capacitors around the processor wouldn't let the heatsink on with the fan installed. It would fit without the fan, but that's kind of pointless. I was going to try and install the fan on the other side but it screws into a special holder that I couldn't move, so that was out of the question. This is something you need to check on your motherboard if your thinking about getting this heat sink.

Logisys Xenix USB LED/Fan Mouse Review @ ExtensionTech.net

Published by [NT] 0

Quote:
"Xenix, a company who doesn't seem to have a web presence, has a potentially gimmicky and cool mouse, no pun intended. It comes with a small fan, and is lit by LED's. You'll recognize the mouse perhaps, Xoxide resells them with their branding, and this is pretty much the same exact mouse. However, after looking around at some other reviews, I have a very different take on this mouse. Yup, read on, see why..."
