ATI All in Wonder X800XT AGP Multimedia Video Card Review @ Tweaknews.net

Dollar for dollar, you still just can't beat the value and features compressed into this one computer peripheral. It's a TV, it's a top notch gaming card, it's an FM Radio, it's a personal video recorder, well, I guess it is pretty darn well everything. You buy it, you install it and instantly your drab, boring computer has an amazing amount of potential and power needed to turn it into an excellent gamer or a home theater system.

Western Digital's Caviar SE16 HardDrive @ TechReport

Published by Newsfactory 0

Western Digital's Caviar SE16 is the latest hard drive to jump on the 300MB/s bandwagon, and fortunately, this Caviar is sporting more than just support for a faster Serial ATA interface. The drive also features a beefy 16MB cache and a stealthy all-black aesthetic that's unlike any other hard drive on the market. Curiously, though, Western Digital has elected not to support Native Command Queuing (NCQ) on its latest high-performance desktop drive. Will that decision hurt the new Caviar's chances against the latest NCQ-equipped Serial ATA drives from Hitachi, Maxtor, and Seagate? Let's find out.

Logitech z5500 Speakers: Good for gamers... but what about music enthusiasts?

Published by Newsfactory 0

There's no question that these are decent speakers. The reviews are already out there, and they're pretty universally favourable. Tons of gamers have raved about the bass, the bass, the bass. The bass seems to be a particular thing with gamers. They like the bass. But what about somebody that's not all that interested in the bass? I'm not a big gamer, first of all. I play games like Civilization and Evil Genius, where things like bass aren't really a going concern. What I do love, however, is music.
