XGBox Viper case reviewed @ XtremeResources
XtremeResources Joe "Jbell" evaluates yet another enthusiast case offering from MGE's XG division, the XGBox Viper!
Welcome back to the second half of my look into two gamer computer cases by XG and I saved the best for last. Let me introduce you to the Viper. The Viper is easily the single most impressive OEM case you can buy that has most all the modifications you could want from a low cost mid-tower. The Viper runs a little more than the Sidewinder but what you get is an amazingly unique case that is fully modded from the factory.

Thermalrock Circle Silver Designer ATX Computer Case Review @ Tweaknews.net
Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder. That is certainly true when it comes to computer case design. When the Circle showed up at my house I was less than ecstatic with its appearance, but over the week or so that I've had it around, I must confess that it's grown on me. Love it or hate it, you have to admit that ThermalRock's Circle chassis has a very distinctive look.
iConcepts Mobile 5 Port Hub USB 2.0
It seems more and more computer peripherals are using USB to connect to the PC. The problem is the average computer has two to four USB ports, and if you're lucky and your motherboard supports it possibly up to six. It doesn't take long to use up all those ports with a USB powered keyboard, mouse, external hard drive, and a port for your digital camera for example.
One solution is to use a USB Hub to allow you to use more USB devices. Today we take a look at one such Hub from iConcepts their Mobile 5 Port Hub USB 2.0.

Intel 6xx & 3.73GHz Processor Review
Today, MBReview has posted up their take on Intel's latest line of processors, the 6xx series, as well as the first "Prescott" core incarnation of the Extreme Edition at 3.73GHz. With these new processors, we find 2MB of L2 cache, EM64T Technology, and EIST, or Enhanced SpeedStep. The 3.73GHz EE does not feature EIST, though it is built off the same core as the 6xx series. What do they think of these new processors? Check out the review to find out!
Intel's Pentium 4 600 Series Processors @ TechReport
A little over a year ago, while media attention was affixed firmly on the Superbowl, Intel discreetly let slip a brand-new, vastly rearchitected CPU core that, by all rights, should have been called the Pentium 5. The "Prescott" CPU core, as we now know, became somewhat infamous for its particular combination of tepid performance and gluttonous appetite for power (and corresponding prodigious heat production). This was the processor that supposed to make it to 4GHz and never did, the CPU that convinced Intel that the future was in dual-core designs and "platformization." It may not have been a resounding success or a complete failure, but it was certainly consequential, despite its quiet introduction.
XG Sidewinder case review@XtremeResources
XG, What is XG? I asked that very same question when I saw their booth at the CES 2005 show. XG founded in 1990, makes great electronic products from cases to power supplies. While I won’t be bragging about their “Magnum” power supply unit I saw there, I do however have 2 cases from them I picked up to check out a little closer than I was able to in Vegas. I am talking about the Sidewinder and Viper Xtreme Gamer Cases
ATI Radeon X800XT Platinum Edition 256Meg AGP Videocard Review @ Tweaknews.net
So you have weighed your options and you are deciding on the fastest ATI Radeon AGP videocard that money can buy. Even through there is plenty of X800XT standard edition available on the market, the Platinum Edition is only different because of its stock core and clock rates. The standard X800XT is clocked at 500Mhz core and 500Mhz memory but the Platinum Edition is stock clocked at 520Mhz core and 560Mhz memory."
Altec Lansing XA2021 Speakers Review
Altec Lansing has been known for their affordable speaker systems for decades. And although they have been a prominent name in the industry, Altec Lansing is usually associated with speaker systems on a budget. While Altec Lansing has rigorous competition from Logitech (and others in the budget sector), they have still managed to hold on to their position quite impressively. The company has introduced viable audio solutions for the enthusiasts that are looking to enjoy their games and music without investing in a high-end system.
Gigabyte 3D1 (Dual GPU!) Review
Guru3D put online a review of the new DualGPU nVidia based 3D graphic card. The 3D1 is built with 256MB DDR3 memory and claims to supports 256-bit memory bandwidth as well. It's actually (2x)128-bit at work here, your standard 6600GT times two, for a performance of about 14.400 3dMarks 2003, but it cost less than a 6800 Ultra GT... You can read the full review here
