Silicon Ice Development has released a new version of Urban Terror, bringing this Mod for Quake 3 Arena to v3.4. This release fixes several textures, map issues, bugs, and more.

Flexbeta.net takes a close look at Doom 3 Beta 2 with tons of screenshots. The new Doom 3 engine feels strong and robust, not like the old Quake engine. The details to the graphics are amazing, however the article does note that there are as many monsters as there are bugs, noting for example corridors that lead no where.

Epic Games has released a new map pack for Unreal Tournament 2004, expanding their new futuristic first-person shooter with two new Onslaught maps. The maps are titled ONS-Ascendancy and ONS-Aridoom, but this pack requires WinXP to install.

3D Gamers reports that Ubi Soft has released a new patch for Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, bringing the European and North American edition of their new 3D stealthy action game to version 1.1. This multiplayer patch adds lobby and server browser improvements, variable firepower settings, Punkbuster support on LANs, enhanced save time options, and improved stability.
