DesignTechnica reports that Microsoft Europe has issued a surprise statement that categorically denies the rumoured unveiling of Xbox 2 at the Games Developers Conference next week.

The beta test will be running for the following two weeks, after which the launch date of the final product will be announced. These files allow anyone to run a dedicated UT2004 server, even if they do not own a retail copy of UT2004. The playable demo of kill.switch is out, allowing you try out the upcoming military shooter by Namco Hometek and The Bitmap Brothers. Details on the demo's contents are sketchy but it appears to contain one full mission from the game.
