Take-Two Interactive has released the single-player demo of Hidden & Dangerous 2, allowing you to try out last Fall's squad-based tactical shooter by Illusion Softworks. This demo offers a single mission titled "Operation Overlord - Blade Dancer." Additionally, the stand-alone server for the full game is available, which includes the Dedicated Server along with a Server Launcher to control it.

It seems that after HL2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Painkiller were leaked it is now the turn for Far Cry! The leak is of Beta version 2! Not much else is know at the moment as the news was posted on Warp2search Germany, a translation is not needed cause of missing informations.

Gamer's Hell reports that NGI has a brand new movie of Unreal Tournament 2004, filmed at the Imagina 2004 Trade Show. This massive video offers the intro sequence and more than 4 minutes of gameplay footage for this upcoming FPS co-created by Epic Games Inc. and Digital Extremes. Unreal Tournament 2004 will be published by Atari in March 2004 and a playable demo should be available next week.

Da EA seinem neusten Titel 'Need for Speed Underground' keinen Netzwerkmodus spendiert hat, haben sich eine kleine Gruppe (3priedez) die Aufgabe gestellt einen LAN-Modus zu basteln und waren dabei erfolgreich. Die aktuellste Version (0.9.9) ist dabei nicht die erste Version. Schon seit längeren werkeln sie an am Spielspaß den EA leider vergessen hat.

Wie Blizzard gestern mitteilte wurde der Plan gefasst ein 'Pan-Europa-Team' in Frankreich zu gründen. Dieses Team ist dann für die Serverpflege, Lokalisation und Communitybetreuung in Europa verantwortlich.
Außerdem soll der Betatest für Europa starten, sobald der Betatest für die USA abgeschlossen ist.

Gamer's Hell reports that Electronic Arts has released the fourth patch for Need for Speed Underground, the urban racing game by EA Black Box. Unlike the previous updates, this patch is now also available as a manual download, but details about the changes/fixes are missing, as usual with EA Sports.

LucasArts have released the official patch for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, updating this sci-fi 3D role-playing game by BioWare to version 1.02

Electronic Arts has now released new client patches for Battlefield 1942, updating the 3D multiplayer action game by Digital Illusions to version 1.6.19. This large release adds the new BF1942 map 'Liberation of Caen', the new Secret Weapons of WWII map 'Raid on Agheila', new vehicles, map tweaks, Punkbuster support, a new scoreboard voting interface, improved server browser, and other enhancements and fixes. As usual, you can upgrade from the previous v1.5 or any older version, and the corresponding Win32 dedicated server is available as an upgrade patch or full install as well.

Activision have released patch v1.2 for Call of Duty updating the popular WWII FPS by Infinity Ward.

This release adds a new gametype (Headquarters) and several other new features, and also fixes a lot of single and multiplayer bugs (read full story for details). An updated dedicated Linux server is also available for download.

Version 1.60 of Vietcong has been released allowing owners of the original VC and the new add-on Fist Alpha to play on the same servers. It also allows the original to use the new skins,hats and weapons. A MP demo was also released to go with it.
