SparkyLinux 8.4 "Seven Sisters" has officially landed, built on the Debian 13 Trixie foundation with refreshed kernels and current desktop environments. Most notably, the quarterly update restores 32-bit Live and install images after Debian officially dropped legacy ISO support roughly a year ago. Users can now choose between the new MinimalGUI Openbox edition and a text-based CLI variant, though the Calamares graphical installer remains excluded for i686-pae builds.
