Rage3D have released a new version of their Tweak tool for ATI Video cards
What was formerly known as v2.8 is now known as v3.0. According to plan v3.0 was intended to have full support for the 8500, and now we're almost there.

Updated & Improved Features: Overclocking is supported on the 7500/8500 with updated r6probe files from Vahur. This *should* be working. New tool from Vahur called AutoOC is available from the start menu r3dtweak program group to detect the *theoretical* maximum overclock for your Radeon. AutoOC only works in Win 9x/ME! (and should only be visible in 9x/ME) AutoRun Profiles are much easier to work with. Per-Game OverClocking is implemented in a much more intuitive way. The Overlay Icons in the tweaks/profiles section have been updated to make them more informative. Now supports Per-Game Sound volume settings (as well as the normal gamma/contrast/brightness setting) through hotkeys (alt-s = increase, alt-shift-s = decrease, alt-shift-cntrl-s = reset to normal). Fixed CDM with regards to needing to specify a refresh rate to enable a custom res. Setup program creates "uninstal.bat" in the install directory to delete all installed files in case of an emergency. Use the Add/Remove Programs to uninstall the tweaker unless you have a major problem. Vastly updated help files. READ THEM FIRST IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION. The help is not 100% complete, but 99% of the new tweaker functionality is covered. Better context (right-click) help will be added in the next version. Not all tweaks have been updated for the Radeon 8500, some SmoothVision settings have been implemented, but the rest will be added for the next tweaker version.
