OSbetas reports that we used to tell you that the highly-anticipated DirectX 9.0 API is to be launched early next year. We really are sorry, but it now seems that we were terribly mistaken. Here is what Mr. Mike Burrows from Microsoft had to say in the DirectX 9 dedicated discussion:
