Betterbird version 153.5.0esr-bb11 has been released, offering users an improved experience over Mozilla Thunderbird. This enhanced email client incorporates a variety of new features and bug fixes that have been long sought after by users.
Betterbird retains the familiar look and feel of Thunderbird while introducing significant functionality that enhances usability. Key features include:
- A multi-line view option similar to that found in Outlook, Lotus Notes, and Postbox.
- Customizable header pane buttons for personalized navigation.
- Support for complex search terms to streamline email retrieval.
- A quick filter to identify untagged messages efficiently.
- The ability to permanently decrypt messages and conduct global searches within encrypted content.
- Notifications for new messages in newsgroups, ensuring users stay informed.
- Configurable display options for addresses within the message list, allowing for a more tailored viewing experience.
These features address long-standing user requests and contribute to a more robust email management experience.
