I got my copy of XP pro thru a similar M$ offer with the "XP Pro promo pack" or some such. It came with some booklets and a nifty "sparkly XP lava lamp" that I consider well worth the $49us I spent. (Plus you get the bonus of being added to their "channel partner's mailer list", which means every now and then out of the blue they send me a hat or t-shirt to remind me how much they like me and value my business.) Oh, and I registered as a partner under my own name of "Digital Wanderer" and used my yahoo mail account of same name for it and didn't have any problems. :)
