So that brings the count of the big games up to 3 then, C.o.Riddick, Farcry, and now this. Although UT isn't the most demanding of games anyway. Hopefully things will pick up pace a little and we'll see the same for the more demanding games soon, i.e. Battlefield2, FEAR etc.

True because if it's not so graphically intensive the balance shifts to CPU, which is great if your looking for obscenely high FPS, however even UT's Physics doesn't require much by todays CPU standards. BF2 & Fear are amongst the first of the 1GB memory heavyweights (i.e. you need 1GB realistically), and if thats all you have then XP64's improved virtual/memory handling could make a noticable difference.

hands up who knows a decsent partition software thats free. I wanna try it, but i reckon it may only be a touch quicker.
