Bring on the war baby. If they plan on suing over 75% of student population in colleges, these idiots will be spending billions on litigation. Soon the government will get fed up with all this bs, and mark these mother f**kers as a monopoly, then the DOJ will get involved to crack down on these dinosours. BRING IT ON!!! I CAN TAKE THE HEAT!!!

I'm 51 years old and support any effort to decentralize power -- with the RIAA being a perfect example. They think they have the moral authority to not only tell us what we're allowed to listen to, but also how much we will be forced to pay for the privilege. Screw that. The main type of music I look for on the net is stuff from the 60s -- the stuff which isn't profitable enough for the companies to keep in circulation by conventional methods. If they would wake up to reality and maintain as complete a catalogue of music as is possible and to make it available over the net for a reasonable cost -- a nickel a song or so -- I'd be delighted to "go legal" by their standards. But they've chosen to pursue the path of greed and so have alienated the very people they need to stay in business. Ooh, they're going to sue hundreds of us! And there are, what, five million or so people logged on to Kaaza alone at any time of the day? Who do they think they're kidding? You can't hold back the tide with a teaspoon -- they can either get aboard or be run over.
