Right, because you guys all know far more that someone who's been doing this for a living for 20 years, and featured in many of the most respected publications in the field. Go MS Fanboys, you're awesome!

True, experts do make mistakes. That's got nothing to do with my point though. My point is that it's extremely ignorant and arrogant to instantly dismiss the possibility with little to no knowledge of how such things work, but if you don't like what the expert has to say, then the expert must be a know-nothing idiot, despite the accuracy of his past predictions, and the years spent in the field, and the research done to write the article. The Microsoft fanclub never ceases to amaze with their blind devotion and closed mindedness.

Erm....just a guess, but how about: Because this is a tech news site, and if such a thing were to happen, it would be pretty big news. Of course, that's not taking into account the fact that you, a 14 year old (at a guess), know far more about what's going on in the industry than a highly respected and published analyst who's been doing this exact thing for the past 20 years, and has made a number of accurate predictions. He may be right, he may be wrong, but Microsoft aren't going to be top of the pile forever, as Bill himself admitted, companies who dominate an electronics market never dominate for long. Either way, it's never a matter of if with this sort of thing, it's when. It may not be in our lifetimes, but the day will come.

By your own admission, you are making comments against people who aren't against MS. I say again, I thought that the 'I hate MS' trend was over and it was no longer 'cool' to be against them. He is completely right. This company has no major competition in light of Apple's renovations, the Linux revolution, etc. His own comparisons are with companies nowhere near MS' success. Mark my words, they are not going down.

Ah, name calling. "14 year old" eh? Well I'm sure lots of us have plenty of respect for your opinion now...
