I use the program and my slowest machine is an xp3200. It is a great program, especially for home server use, you can yank out all the bloatware that you don't need, you can rip out internet exploder and outhouse express completely leaving no trace of it behind, rip out just about anything to slim your OS down to make it faster and more efficient, slipstream is so easy to do, lots of possibilities. That "other" customize program only takes junk out *after* you have installed the OS and it is notorious for leaving parts of programs behind, nlite leaves no trace of whatever you are ripping out of the OS, far from being "useless crap", it is a godsend.
