I agree partially with this, as in Hot Persuit 2, the realism was traded for an arcadish speed rush. Porsche Unleashed was by FAR the most realistic of them all... But NOW, Microsoft holds the crown for being realistic with Rallisport Challenge. But THIS game is NOT BORING either. That is the thing - realistic IS boring to many.... This goes beyong real for those who just want the HUGE SPEED RUSH. The Graphics are INSANE - and the frame rates are UNHEARD of! My TI4200 at 1024/768 is TOTALLY smooth! And I am FUSSY! Real? Nah. FUN?? The FUNNEST EVER! PD

There's a big difference between DX9 compatibility and whether a card can use DX9 shaders. The entire Geforce range is DX9 compatible, as well as most of the Radeon's (if not all). You're thinking of whether a card can use DX9 shaders or not. The only cards that can use DX9 shaders are the Radeon 9500 and up and the GeforceFX range. Hope that clears that up for you sak500.
