So, if it sucks so bad, why bother using/stripping/installing it in the first place? Do you really want their 'sucky' OS that bad? Also, if no one cares about what he thinks, you sure take alot of time explaining how much you care about it... I didn't bother reading it but found the comment rather harsh regardless of what it says.

If you dislike MS that much why bother with their OS plane and simple don't use it. I had a model A car too, it didn't have electric windows so I traded it in for a newer version.

Relatedly, the ramblings provide absolutely no sources which back up his claims re: "headaches for support staff of PC and software vendors". Where are the data? The core argument that you don't necessarily know the full implications of stripping Windows is fine, but the conclusions reached have absolutely no supporting evidence. Where are the data? Sources cited (ironically) talk of issues likely to be encountered by removing certain files, but how does that translate into a mass of support problems for others? Where are the data?
