No one said that AMD64 was safe from viruses... Of course it vill get viruses, that will never change. BUT their NX bit (No eXecute) reduces the risk of buffer underrun exploits.... What is DEP ... Johnny Depp ? ;-)

Wonder why they're just saying it's for AMD64 processors. After all, Intel's EM64T P4s and Xeons can run XP 64-bit, too, and they will also be affected.

They probably mean Windows XP AMD64 Edition... Wich is what the new Windows version will be called.
