I'd prefer it if'n DarkCrow had an english language page too, but I STILL get an awful lot of info out of anything he puts up whether I can read the language or not. Pictures and graphs are pretty universal. ;)

I think it's time to write something. Let's look at the facts : there's a really cool chip, named nv30 or GeforceFX chip, with tons of features and and and and. It's really the best graphics-chip in the world for home pcs there's no doubt, running at 500 MHz core and 1GHz memory!! These facts really don't leave much to say. BUT : the real facts in the net shows us, that the best chip isn't that fast. There is another, build by older technology, running at 120 MHz less, which is faster in many tests. The question is not, whether I like ati or nvidia, both are only firms for me, in competition. Many people say : look, what would happen when we push a xp 3000+ really to 3GHz, like a p4, which performance would we have. So could it be also with graphics-cards. There was one guy who brought his 9700Pro up to 450 Mhz, an he has a performance increase by 30% and more. So again a question : what would happen if a 9800 is pushed up to 500 MHz? I only wanted to ask today, why is the nv30 not on the level to lead the competition with all the features it has got. The real possible processing power of this chip must be amazing. So the thing, I don't get is, why, only by quality decrease, there can be a performance comparable to a 9800pro. It must be possible to win that battle with such a chip. For my part, I don't really care about the competition. It's still interesting to see, but I have to ask too much questions, because I don't get it. In the clinch AMD - Intel and ATI - Nvidia. The battle goes on, today ATI is looking good. But who will it be tomorrow? Maybe some guys bring up 3dfx again. The strategie of an add-on 3daccelerator was funny. And if one wasn't enough, buy you a second :))
