I previously calculated (unprofessionally, only taking % speed increase in consideration) that Doom 3 Alpha would reach 57,5 fps in 1280x1024 using 50.x drivers and a 3ghz CPU. The fun part is that [H]ard|OCP's test shows that Doom 3 *final* reaches 58,1fps with 44.03, wich makes me very optimistic with NV35 and 50.x.

Its the AMD vs Pentium issue. NVidia have lower clockrates, that also means that they are likely easier to overclock. Thoose who survive this summer will see the truth.
