Thermaltake Circlefire Multi-Media Drive Bay Review @ Tweaknews.net

Published by [NT] 0

Article Snippit:
"I know that as a consumer, I would expect much more from a product that Thermaltake advertises as a "professional multi-media kit". It tries to do too many things, and ends up doing none of them very well. I could only find one online retailer for the Circle Fire, and at $77 CAD ($65 USD) the bang for buck coefficient is quite low, by my estimation.
I've owned Thermaltake products in the past and been very pleased with them, but using the Circle Fire has been a little like admiring a choice '49 Mercury hot rod, then finding a lawn-mower motor under the hood."

ATI Radeon Xpress

Published by Newsfactory 0

Driverheaven just posted their Radeon Xpress chipset preview...

Looking at that list of features and the one that?s immediately worth talking about is the onboard graphics. As mentioned previously it?s based on the X300, pipeline configuration and is as follows 2 pixel pipelines with 1 texture unit and 4 vertex units per pipeline. Interestingly, the Vertex Shader performance is assisted by the CPU so the faster the CPU you have the better your onboard graphics will perform. With the onboard graphics there is also one very surprising, but excellent, feature. The board has onboard DVI in addition to VGA.
