Razer's New eXactMat Aluminum Mouse Surface

Published by [NT] 0

Overclockers Club has an exclusive review of Razer's new aluminum eXactMat mouse surface. 'We all know Razer for their old famous Boomslang mouse, their newer Boomer mice, and their newest Viper optical mouse but not for mouse surfaces. They decided to leap in to the mouse pad market and from the looks of their new Razer eXactMat mouse pad, it looks like they have made a truly unique mouse surface. Anodizing protects the aluminum base by making the surface much harder than natural aluminum. Aluminum oxide is grown out of the surface during anodizing and then becomes aluminum hydrate, that is extremely hard. The porous nature of the anodized layer allows the product to be dyed (in eXactMat black). The method used is Type II anodizing (room temperature) and gives an anodized layer of 0.1" (half which is grown into the surface and half out of the surface).' Read more

Vantec EZ-Grip Molex Connectors Review

Published by [NT] 0

OCIA.net checks out the Vantec EZ-Grip Molex Connectors in their latest review. Below is a direct quote from the review:

"I inserted the molex removal tool provided in the kit. Let me just say that this tool easily cuts the time of the job in half. When I put the cable sleeving kit on originally, I found that removing molex connectors without an appropriate tool is very time consuming and hard on the hands. However, using the tool that is provided, all that is required is inserting the tool, and pushing the knob on top, similar to the working of a syringe."

The main feature of this mouse pad is the colors. Lots of colors."

Intel i925X & i915P/G Chipset Review @ MBReview

Published by Newsfactory 0

The most disappointing aspect about these chipsets has to be the performance of the i925X chipset versus the i915P/G. Intel claims performance enhancements for the i925X over i915P/G such as an advanced memory controller that is capable of offering more bandwidth. They come through with that fact, but in the end that isn?t enough to make the i925X a viable buy over the i915P/G chipset in our eyes. Until we start seeing some better gains from i925X motherboards, they?re going to be hard to recommend over the certainly cheaper i915P/G motherboards.

NZXT Guardian ATX Mid-Tower Case Review at 3DX

At that price this case would fall into the budget category however the uniqueness of this case and pre-modded look really adds to the attraction. The other features including screw-less drive and PCI card installation, side intake fan, dual 80MM exhaust fans, front Audio and USB ports make this case worth every penny of its selling price.
