After all the buzz about the new Zalman heatpipe coolers for the high-end video cards, there were some of those less fortunate who were feeling just a little left out. But fear not! TweakTown's Mike "Darthtanion" Wright takes a look at the Zalman ZM50-HP VGA Heatpipe Cooler. It features the same quiet cooling method as the larger models but is made for those who are still using a low-end video card. Can it still maintain good results in a smaller package? Lets find out!
Epox 8RDA+ nForce 2 Motherboard @ Viper Lair
Although they are no strangers to motherboards, the 8RDA+ marks the first time Epox have worked with Nvidia. With the nForce2 getting a lot of good press, Viperlair takes a look at Epox's nForce2 solution, and determines if this motherboard is worth consideration.
X-Trac Standard Optical Mouse Pad
just got word from Extension that ExtensionTech's X-Trac Standard Optical Mouse Pad review is out!
I'll be looking at something a bit different today, a cloth mouse pad. Yes, cloth. While I'm literally against cloth pads myself, for obvious reasons, I think I found one that I like. It's the X-Trac standard pad. While the pad is kind of small in comparison to a Ratpadz, or an Everglide Giganta, some people may not want a huge mouse pad on their desk. In my instance and testing, this pad was large enough to do its job, as long as you have your mouse speed turned up...?

Vr-Zone Hardware Reviews
Here's two reviews that were sent in by the guy's @ Vr-Zone: the first review is for EPoX's 8RGA+ nForce2 IGP mainboard and the second review is for Gainward's GeForce 4 PowerPack! Ultra/750-8X XP VIVO Golden Sample graphics card.
EPoX 8RGA+ nForce2 IGP: EPoX 8RGA+ board is follow up to the very popular 8RDA+ where most overclockers are getting now. This board is based on the nForce2 IGP chipset with decent set of board features such as LAN, 6 Channel Audio, Firewire and possess the same powerful set of overclocking options in the BIOS like the 8RDA+. EPoX has added an additional BIOS option to allow VDD tweaking up to 2.0V which is definitely most welcomed by many overclockers. With all these BIOS settings, i am able to increase the FSB to 220Mhz Dual Channel Mode at 2-2-2-5 memory timings and further more to 225Mhz at Single Channel Mode.

Albatron Geforce 4 MX480 8X AGP Videocard Review
Good friend Nathan Glentworth has send us a word that an Albatron Geforce 4 MX480 has been reviewed on his site.
Article Snippit: "Seems like all you hear about in the hardware world is the high end cards. But are these cards for the everyday gamer, nope. Do you think that most people have US$200-$400 to spend on one component, nope. People today like to have a blend of value and performance and that is where the Alabatron MX480 delivers." Sharp LL-T1620 16'' LCD Monitor
Looking for the smackdown on Sharp's latest 16" offerings? Check out G3D's latest foray and comments regarding it's D-SUB video quality, 2D imaging, resolution scaling - and oh so much more.
As you may know, all LCD monitors have a "native resolution", as they have a set number of pixels. You can't go higher, and going lower forces the monitor to stretch the image out amongst the pixels, which will obviously cost you some image quality. Now, if you're quite the gamer, then you'll know that a handful of games use a resolution of 1280x960 as opposed to 1280x1024. Why? Good question. In fact, the question should be, "Why isn't 1280x960 the standard resolution?" It should be."

Seagate Serial ATA Barracuda V 120GB
Doobey Dooo lets me know that VR-Zone have reviewed the new Serial ATA based Seagate Barracuda V 120GB hard drive. Here's a byte:
When you flip the drive over to its backside, you can see that the new SATA drives have different data and power connections, when comparing them to the old Parallel ATA standards. Also like mentioned before, the wires are very flexible and thin, and they will only fit one way, so the risk of damaging the drive by improper installation is almost non existent.

MSI G4Ti4600-VT2D8X
VR-Zone Hardware has posted a review of the MSI GeForce 4 Ti 4600 8X AGP graphics card, or the MSI G4Ti4600-VT2D8X as they like to call it.
MSI's latest card based on the GeForce 4 Ti4800 or Ti4600 with 8X AGP GPU is one of the best bundled package around. However this card is probably the last from MSI after the recent soured relationship with NVIDIA.

GeForce FX 5800 Ultra
Just got word that Guru3D's 24 page GeForce FX 5800 Ultra review has been posted! Here's a snip:
Today we bring you a review on the heavily discussed GeForce FX 5800 Ultra. Ever since the first review came out on the web three weeks ago there has been much talk and gossip going on. It didn't fulfill expectations the consumer had, doesn't beat Radeon 9700 Pro, uses fastest memory in the world yet is 128-bit and most of all we've seen a lot of humorous images around the web where people use the FX as hair-dryer, leaf-blower. In the mean time, 3D Mark 03 was released, NVIDIA was not rather fond of this synthetic benchmark and refuses to see it as a 'gamers' benchmark for many good reasons.

Albatron PX845PEV Pro
The Albatron PX845PEV Pro kept pace with the Asus P4PE throughout all of the Performance Testing that we submitted both boards too. The difference in performance was negligible, however it's the cost that makes the Albatron PX845PEV Pro a true winner. The Albatron PX845PEV Pro can be purchased for around $85 online, the Asus P4PE sells for around $120. Considering the performance, price and overclockability of the Albatron PX845PEV Pro I see no reason in not suggesting this motherboard to anyone looking for a Intel P4 motherboard upgrade. Read the whole review over @ 3dXtreme.

Logitech Elite Duo @ ASE Labs
This is simply the best keyboard and mouse combo I've ever owned. With optical and wireless technology, Logitech nailed this one.
About a month ago, I found a deal at Fat Wallet that I couldn't pass up. I managed to pick up three Logitech Elite Duos for around $17 each and some other stuff with it. I made a killing IMO. Anyway, I've been using the Duo for about a month now and I'm fairly certain that this is the keyboard and mouse I'll be sticking with for awhile.

OCZ Dual Channel PC3200 EL DDR SDRAM

Read on and decide for yourself!
Crazy PC Silver Inferno Case
VR-Zone Hardware has posted a review of the Silver Inferno Case by CrazyPC. The Silver Inferno is based on the popular Lian Li PC-602 case and is one of the nicest cases in appearance with a great flaming skull mod on the side panel, a window on the top of the case, front side USB and the great look and feel.
SS Warrior Aluminum Case
OCIA has posted their latest review in the form of the SS Warrior Aluminum Case! Here's a snip.
One feature I definitely like is that the entire top panel of the case is removable too. This can help in both general installation of components, but also for modding the panel since you can completely separate it from the rest of the case. Good place for a small radiator perhaps.

e-Cube CF-S968 SFF PC @ Techseekers.net
I really liked the e-Cube. There are a few minor problems with the design. Firstly the Keyboard/Mouse PS2 port on the front. I mean why?? (Well it does have TV-Out so I can not complain much :-) ). Secondly the BIOS battery fouls some graphics cards, especially the Geforce TI range of cards. Other than that, I feel that along with its size, excellent performance as a standalone PC as well as a Home Theatre PC box the s-Cube CF-S968 is an excellent product. Another good point is that they chose to put the Optical out on the Rear of the box. Now that is good thinking :-).
