See the latest THG video pitting a 3 GHz P4 with HT against a 3.6 GHz P4 without HT. More benchmarks, links, and information on Hyper-Threading...

The Intel 3.6 GHz P4 is nothing more than an unlocked P4 which they overclocked! but they say We have a Pentium 4 in the lab that is completely unlocked. it's still makes it possible to choose a multiplier of any value as desired (higher and lower values), as long as you make the necessary manipulations to the core voltage on the motherboard. the results of a Pentium 4 3.6 GHz (at standard FSB clock) are still valid Yeah right so stay Tuned for OUR 4.4ghz CPU review next week....Hehe

Matrox Parhelia Review @ Beyond3D

Published by Newsfactory 0

Its been 6 months since Matrox announced their latest graphics processor, the Parhelia-512 GPU.

The initial round of web reviews didn't paint Parhelia in an entirely positive light because it's gaming performance wasn't quite there in comparison to Nvidia's GeForce 4 Ti 4600, and certainly not in comparison to what ATI had in store a few months later. Was this lack of performance purely down to a relatively new drivers and a little development might show a healthy difference? What else sets Parhelia out from the pack? Where is it aimed at now?
