Thermaltake Toughpower Cable Management 750W Power Supply Review

Published by Newsfactory 0

This PSU should prove to be a worthy addition to the very competent Toughpower line. The stability was impressive and the modular cables not only performed admirably, but look very good in their sleeving. Outstanding stability and a rich feature set like this, however, doesn't come cheap.

Antec Fusion Media Center Case Review @ Tweaknews.net

Published by Newsfactory 0

Antec once again has delivered a knockout product, and one that I'm very pleased with. Sure, there's a few little problems here and there, but nothing that diminishes the overall design of the case. While the insides are tight, there's room for everything a small media center will need, and everything fits properly, without any fiddling.

Today they test their new X20 and a few other products from the XSPC inventory and compare them to other high end water cooling components.

Behardware.com has gathered 6 entry level products from HP, Canon, Epson, Konica Minolta and Dell to test them and report the results in figures and videos.

Logitech Quickcam Fusion Webcam Review @ Tweaknews.net

Published by Newsfactory 0

Well, I can't say Logitech has convinced me to become a webcam junkie, but I am very impressed with how far the webcam has come. For those who teleconference from home or on the road, the image quality is top-notch, the built-in mic works very well, and the addition of a basic, yet functional headset makes for a compelling product.

ASUS EN7950GT Video Card Review

The £200 price point has always been a tempting one for consumers looking for high-end performance without breaking the bank, and as a result both ATI and NVIDIA have fought hard this generation to turn customers heads in this price range. NVIDIA's last DirectX 9 offering for this segment of the market is their G71-based refresh part, the GeForce 7950 GT, and today Elite Bastards take a look at ASUS' EN7950GT board based around this SKU.

Quad SLI Under the Microscope

Published by Newsfactory 0

Over the past few years, we've seen an incredible number of extreme hardware solutions marketed to PC gamers: graphics cards that cost over five hundred bucks, thousand-dollar "Extreme Edition" CPUs, motherboards with more ports than Dubai, custom physics processors, and now even a "killer" NIC. Without a doubt, though, the most extreme of all of these offerings has to be Nvidia's vaunted Quad SLI. The concept of running four GPUs together for insane gaming goodness is more extreme than snowboarding down some wicked moguls into a vat of Mountain Dew at the X Games.

Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO Videocard Review @ Tweaknews.net

Published by Newsfactory 0

When contemplating my upcoming review of the X1650 PRO, I considered this card to perform exactly like the X1600 PRO tested earlier. They are essentially the same other than the slightly different core and its' smaller manufacturing process. Now add in the fact that it is lacking one texture unit and I was also contemplating maybe even a slight decrease. But surprisingly, the card performed well beyond my expectations and proved to be a valuable mainstream alternative for your next purchase

OCZ EvoStream 600 watt Power Supply @ Pro-Clockers

The EvoStream 600 watt power supply seems to be what a lot of power users are wanting, less resistance and a bunch of power from a conveniently modular power supply. A three year warranty and the great rep that OCZ has may make the EvoStream the next most wanted power supply. And if that is not enough, this new beast from OCZ also sports quad 12v rails.

Zalman CNPS9500 LED Heatsink Review @ GruntvillE.com

Published by Newsfactory 0

This is when I saw where the reputation for the hot Prescott cores came from, I had problems keeping this chip from setting off alarms. I thought it might not be set properly so I removed it, cleaned it and reset it, and still was getting high temps. Letting this one stay on there a week for the AS5 to cure was a hard decision and I was glad to take it off and put the Zalman 9500 back on, but this time with the AS5.

Bigfoot Networks Killer Network Interface Card

Bigfoot Networks' Killer NIC is more than just a beefed up network card though. In fact, the Killer is more of a "system on a card" than a NIC. The company claims their product can improve ping times and frame-rates in many on-line games, and it's unique design opens up the possibility of running dedicated network apps with the help of its on-board processor and RAM.
