S3's MultiChrome Dual-GPU Technology
S3 graphics has been making a slow, sustained push for respectability since the arrival of its first Chrome-series graphics processors in 2003. That push continued with the introduction of the updated Chrome S27 GPU last fall, and at that time, S3 hinted at a new wrinkle in its plans. Like ATI and NVIDIA, S3 would be introducing a multi-card graphics capability, dubbed MultiChrome. We got a brief preview of MultiChrome in action back in November, but S3 has been quietly preparing the tech for prime time since then.

SunbeamTech Nuuo 550w PSU Review
OCIA.net takes a look at the SunbeamTech Nuuo 550w PSU in their latest review.
The Nuuo 550 was introduced last fall. It was the first modular PSU to be certified by nVidia for use with SLI. With the mad rush by all PSU manufacturers to get out new models of power supplies suitable for use with the power hungry NF4 Ultra SLI chipset and multiple video cards, many buyers may have overlooked Sunbeam's offering. Now that things have settled down some, and SLI is reality, with modular construction and it's very attractive price, the Nuuo 550 should stand out as a serious consideration.

Diamond Multimedia is a company some of you PC Enthusiast veterans may remember. Also way back when this site was called ?3D Spotlight? we reviewed some of their most outstanding products like Voodoo and Rendition-based graphics cards, the Diamond Rio 500, and the Monster Sound soundcards. Since those days they have had a quite an interesting ride. That is no longer important though, the brand is back, and they are giving it another shot with a complete product range.

Spire CF450B0 CoolGate CPU Cooler Review @ MVKTech
Spire is no stranger when it comes to cooling solutions and definitely has the knowledge to create and supply decent cooling products. The CoolGate CPU cooler is specifically designed for high performance applications. It uses vertical dual heatpipes to transport heat away from the CPU. The concept of heatpipes has become quite interesting for any cooling application. Spire has adopted this technology to build a new range of high performance CPU coolers, and the CoolGate fits perfectly into that picture. The CoolGate CPU cooler applies heatpipe technology to elevate its cooling performance to the next level.

Sapphire Blizzard Radeon X1900 XTX @ FiringSquad
While the Radeon X1900 XTX is one terrific performer, one of the chief criticisms that's been directed at retail cards is that they run too loud, especially in comparison to NVIDIA's GeForce 7900 GTX. To help combat the noise issue, as well as deal with heat, Sapphire has elected to use a liquid-based cooler from Thermaltake on the Blizzard Radeon X1900 XTX. In addition, it also boasts factory overclocked speeds for the GPU and memory. But does everything work as Sapphire advertises? Let's find out!
