At this point the Zalman CNPS9500 bowed out. It was able to prime the Opteron 146 up to 2.90 Ghz but was unable to maintain prime stability any further while using the CNPS9500 - consider this that it was a closed case environment. We've seen results showing the Zalman CNPS9500 excelling on an open bench, I don't consider an open bench environment a computer - it needs to be in a closed case for me to really accept cooling figures.

Memory that runs at this latency is rare and is not easy to find. This DDR can run at 250MHz at CAS 2 with nice tight 2-2-5 timings.

Legit Reviews has recently had the opportunity to look at seven PC2-6400 memory kits from some of the most popular enthusiast brand lines here in North America. Our Seven DDR2-800 kits came from A-DATA, Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, Mushkin, OCZ and SyncMAX. While all three brands are rated at 800MHz, this is where the similarities end.

The design and execution of the P160W, while not perfect, is very impressive indeed. It's quiet and has very good cooling potential. With the exception of the drive rail issue and the rather fussy stealth cover buttons, the case was a pleasure to work with. I particularly like the design of the HDD drive trays, the motherboard tray and the control panel. The aluminum chassis is light but robust with a well-designed layout.

The heatpipes pass through the center of the fins and are soldered in place. A total of 52 fins provide for a large surface area for cooling. As with Thermalright's other coolers, the finned portion of the heatsink overhangs the base by a good margin and should provide indirect cooling for components surrounding the CPU socket.

In order to get a system to run in SLi mode, you would usually have to buy 2 graphics card of the same model. But today, VR-Zone takes a look at this physically large graphics card, that actually has 2 7800GT cores on a single PCB, connected via NVIDIA's SLi interface. There is no way I am going to put this card down. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this card if you consider its' targeted consumer genre. This card is meant to be a value based premium graphics card with exceptional cooling and overclocking potential. What more could you ask for when you are laying down US$139. Sure there might be cheaper, but I bet it isn't as loaded as this model. If you are in the market for a cheap, yet superb value videocard, give this one a try.
