[H]ardOCP have snagged ATI's latest Radeon R420 Roadmap! Here's a snip.

First we have the names that will be attached to the VPUs that will scale across three levels of performance with the same VPU. The "X800XT" and the "X880XT" being the "same" card but with a different interface, with the latter being a PCI-Express X16 card. You will see that the PCI-Express core is labeled "R423" as it is in fact a native PCI-Express part and not the same CPU as the R420 with an adaptive bridge to allow the VPU to work on both interfaces.

Digital-Life have snagged a photo of Asus's all new GeForce 6800 Ultra garphics card! Looks quite coool with that blue led in the centre of the fan.

Rage 3D reports that relapse808 from PocketMatrix has posted a 30 second video of Quake running on ATI's Imageon 2300 chipset. Quake brings back some memories!

Looks to be the final revision of the card, with the heatsink and all. Apparantly the other version of the photo was not actually a 6800 Ultra, but it was a 6800 non-ultra.

GIZMODO has snagged the first Photo of Nokia's N-Gage 2!

This year is the first time I've been to CTS, and I'm sure it won't be the last! The big guys were there: Intel and AMD. There were plenty of people showcasing Nvidia and ATI products too. All in all, lots of excellent kit being showcased; I was most impressed.

The first microprocessor will be clocked at 1.4Ghz while the other model will be clocked at 1.6Ghz. Both models will feature the same amount of L2 cache. The 1.4Ghz processor will be available in the market right after the official announcement, sources said. This leads us to believe that the retailers might have already received the units. The 1.6Ghz model, however will be available in the market at the end of May, sources close to Intel confirmed.

Anandtech have updated their little tidbit on the R420/423 to include "facts" about the pipelines on their new cards.

The french site Clubic.com has exclusive informations about ATI's next gen 3D chip, here's a small extract in english :

Reliable industry sources relatively close to ATI, told french website Clubic.com, ATI is going to have a sixteen pixel pipelines part starting this spring. Being part of the R420 familly this part is supposed to be a R420 and will likely be available in AGP 8x & PCI-Express 16x flavors.

This Mobile Phone is equipped with a digital camera, go figure, they even make 'em with cameras these days. More on this fun stuff later. The phone also has quite some funny gadgets such as Java games, voice dialing, polyphonic ringtones (a heap of them I can tell you) and quite some other fancy stuff. Oh did I mention it's a quad-band telephone, don't know when you'll use it, but it's future proof, that's for sure. Let's start the closer look.

On Tuesday, Intel Corp. announced a new design it will undertake to lower the costs of it's Itanium line processors. According to Intel, it's Xeon and Itanium chips will use the same socket. The enterprise and high-end consumers will be able to switch between Xeon and Itanium processor on the same motherboard.

Microsoft has launched three new special edition mice with an original design. Microsoft tells that these mice were created to help consumers to personalize their desktops. All these mice deliver a scroll wheel with the Tilt Wheel Technology, five programmable buttons and also an enhanced wireless optical technology which is claimed to deliver a battery life of more than six months.

The French site X86-Secret have posted a rumour that AMD will launch their Socket 939 Athlon 64 3500+ CPU on 25th of May 2004? Here's a snip.

After several successive carryforwards, AMD recently informed its partners of the future date of launching of the platform Socket 939. Wishing to precede INTEL and its advertisement of the LGA775 in June, the launching of Athlon FX and Athlon 64 Socket 939 are now planned for Tuesday 25 May 2004.
