Asus have posted their 'Overview and Support pages' for the Asus V9900 GeForce FX card. The Specifications are "disabel" (128MB or 256MB RAM?). There is of course a 'Download Section' where you can download drivers and ...firmware? for this card.

NVIDIA UK HAS REFUSED to comment on a posting on a 3D bulletin board claiming that the GeForce FX is for the chop.According to the rumour, posted at x-3DFX, Nvidia is canning the GeForce FX and has told its foundry, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp (TSMC), to stop when 100,000 NV30 are produced. The same posting claimed that Nvidia will now concentrate on NV31, NV34, and NV35.

[H]ardOCP reports that they have received an updated FX Flow version GeForce FX 5800 Ultra from Nvidia. The new fan system is not active at all in 2D mode and according to Steve from [H] a bit more quiet than the initial web review versions. This new GFFX cooling system does not run in 2D operation, making it quieter than any other 3D cards in this current generation while not being used in a gaming capacity. When the GFFX Ultra is utilized in a 3D application, the fan system spins up and is still about as loud as it was before. Nvidia reports it to be around 5dBa quieter.

Just spotted this @ Sudhian.com: Many of you have probably heard something about the Trident XP4 graphics card. You?ve probably heard that it will offer performance along the lines of a GeForce 4 Ti4200 for only $100. It has been a while (a long while) since Trident first started boasting about the new card, and nothing has really turned up. What has happened? Well what was originally slated to be introduced in October of 2002 now has no certain date. Trident?s XP4 is being manufactured on a .13 micron process by UMC. Unfortunately for Trident, UMC has been having quite a bit of trouble with the move to the smaller process. This problem as well as others has caused delays in Trident's schedule.
