Asus, Epox, Abit, Soltek, MSI, Leadtek, Chaintech, Shuttle, etc - they all had NV18 motherboards on display today @ Computex.

Yeah, NV18 will certainly be shown @ Computex but I guess everyone knew that anyway from the rumors right? :D

Motherboards based on NV18 chipset might not be too far away and it is expected that a few manufactures will show samples of their NV18 based boards @ Computex next week.

The rumors also suggest that NVIDIA will showcase its NV28 chip but there's no word on whether NV30 will be shown, even if behind closed doors.

Finally it seems the rumours have come to an end. Gigabyte is the first manufacturer to officially announce a Radeon 8500 XT. Though the company offers no detailed information on what the XT stands for we believe that this is just a higher clocked version of standard Radeon 8500 GPUs similiar to Nvidia's ultra variants of chips. Just got this email from Aron! He just got a press release from Soyo. They will be expand their line of motherboards with 10 new designs at Computex 2002 in Taipei, Taiwan. According to the info coming from our unofficial sources, AMD is going to release a server Athlon MP 2100+ in the end of June-beginning of July. It is even more interesting that the new processor will support faster system bus, and the core logic ? faster memory type. The use of 166MHz FSB grants a pretty tangible performance increase by Athlon XP processors (see our article called AMD Athlon XP and 166MHz FSB: Why Not?), however there are no chipsets in the market yet, which could work at this frequency officially and be certified for server usage.

Is the new Thermalright SLK-600. Looks like the SK6's big brother. This sink makes a 60mm fan look small - it's that big. This sink is for the Socket 370/462 motherboards .
